South coast producers come together to celebrate region
01 May 2017
South coast primary producers and industry figures will come together on Monday 8 May for the fourth South Coast Industry Dinner. The night is hosted by South East Local Land Services in partnership with TAFE NSW Nowra.
Ken Garner, South East Local Land Services Acting General Manager, is looking forward to welcoming guests on the night.
“The dinner is an opportunity for us to come together as a community, celebrate the quality and variety of produce the south coast has to offer and to reinforce the significance of agricultural production to the region’s economy.
“As an organisation we pride ourselves on our local focus, that’s why we’re so proud to be able to participate in this event as it represents much of what we stand for,” Ken said.
Guest will hear talks from local producers Prime Alpaca, Cupitt’s Winery, Contadino Olives, The Apple Thief Cider, Pointer Mountain Honey and Slow Food Shoalhaven.
The dinner also represents the chance to showcase the next generation of south coast talent. Students from TAFE Nowra hospitality and event management classes will be preparing the meals, running service and also overseeing the smooth running of the event.
Early bird tickets have already sold out, but there are still some seats available. If you would like to attend please email Amanda Britton or phone (02) 4464 6000.
