Make the most of this opportunity to apply for this heavily subsidised 8-day leadership learning program running between August and October 2016.
Local Land Services and South East Landcare have partnered with Global Learning to deliver a program to develop the leadership skills of people involved in natural resource management, Landcare, community, biosecurity and agricultural sectors in the South East.
Building on a successful pilot program in 2015, this Local Leaders program will provide opportunities to collaborate, deepen and expand your skills to lead, build long-term networks, develop problem solving and systems thinking skills, and undertake a wide range of practical ‘hands-on’ learning experiences.
2015 participant, Community Food Coop coordinator Cath found the program valuable:
“Structured reflection, an assessment of my own personal traits and ways of operating, tools for collaboration, systems mapping of the local food sector, are just some of the aspects of this leadership course that made it relevant and enlightening to me personally, as well as to my role at a local food cooperative. This course built business relationships and friendships between producers, retailers, distributors, educators and caterers, fostering confidence and a collaboration amongst participants for a diverse, vibrant and thriving local food sector.”
Don’t miss out on this unique and transformative opportunity. Only one program is being offered in 2016.
